We recommend that you discuss parking arrangements with OTD staff prior to your visit. Otherwise, parking on campus may be very difficult.
Directions from RDU Airport & RTP -
- Take Interstate 40 West
- Exit off I-40 at exit 273-A
- Proceed into Chapel Hill on Highway 54 (appr. 3.1 miles), passing small shopping centers on both sides of the road, go under an overpass and up a hill
- At a traffic light at the top of the hill, turn right onto Country Club Road
To Bynum Hall:
- Go straight through the intersection of Raleigh Street and Country Club Road (road then turns into Cameron Avenue)
- Take the 2nd left into Bynum Circle (fountain in the center of the circle)
- The building at the back of the circle is Bynum Hall
To Morehead Visitors Lot:
- Turn right onto Raleigh Street
- Turn left onto Franklin Street
- Morehead Visitor's lot is on the left at Morehead Planetarium
- Bynum Hall is located one block behind Morehead Planetarium on Cameron Avenue
Directions from Greensboro -
- Take Interstate 40 East
- Exit off I-40 at exit 266
- Turn right and proceed into Chapel Hill on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard/Historic Airport Road (appr. 4 miles)
To Bynum Hall:
- At the intersection of Franklin Street, road turns into Columbia Street, continue straight throught the intersection
- At the next intersection, turn left onto Cameron Avenue
- Go through 2 stops signs and turn right into Bynum Circle (fountain in center of circle)
- Bynum Hall is the building at the back of the circle
To Morehead Visitors Lot:
- Turn left onto Franklin Street
- Go throught 2 stop lights, Morehead Visitor's lot is on the right at Morehead Planetarium
- Bynum Hall is located one block behind Morehead Planetarium on Cameron Avenue
